From the back with the battery cover removed. That's a Lithium CR2032 battery.

There is a capacitor and a crystal in the upper right of this side of the circuit board and a line to the cheap speaker. Seems all these toys use similar speakers nowadays.

Here is the front of the circuit board. Note the gold plated contacts and the epoxy chip cover.

Here is all the stuff together for the last time before I throw it out. I will recycle it actually and sell the electronics for about 50cents a kilo.
